Hey you. Yeah, you.
I see you over here, doing your research,
clicking on things! I guess this means I better tell you a bit about myself, since you came alllll the way over here.
Growing up in a quiet corner of NE Minneapolis,
I found myself falling in love with all things creative at a young age. Just blocks away from the famous 13th avenue, I was surrounded by amazing artists at every turn. I used to really piss off my mom by stealing all of the paper out of the printer to draw. So much so that she eventually bought me a digital tablet. (sorry mom!)
Seeing as I was a kid, photoshop was about $700 outside of my budget of zero dollars, so I downloaded Gimp and taught myself the ropes. Eventually I decided that whatever I did with my career, it was going to be creative, and I was going to do it well. One day while perusing my high school library, I found a book on the history of graphic design. Really, the rest is history.
Fast forward to 2022.
BAM.
I have been designing on and off for the last several years, with a mixture of one-off projects, in-house contracts, and basically whatever else I can get my lil’ mitts on. The last 3 years have been spent primarily in-agency, focusing on brand initiatives and campaign work.
As a naturally curious and hands on person, I enjoy all types of creative work, and have found myself in various roles throughout the years. Designer, illustrator, photographer... you name it and I've probably done it, or at least thought about doing it.
While logo design and print will always have my heart, I thoroughly enjoy working on social and digital projects. I have amassed an appreciation for fast paced, team oriented environments and projects that keep me on my toes.
I am always open to discuss new and exciting opportunities. As of now, I am #openforwork. Drop me a line either via email, or on Linkedin if you would like to discuss any opportunities you may have available, or just to talk shop!
